Remembrance Parade

I think today was the wettest parade we have ever participated in!  So impressed by Ed and Eden and the resilience they showed! Not a single complaint despite the torrential rain. Makes me proud to be your headteacher.  Well done!

Remembering WW1

The children have been creating poppies as part of our work about WW1.  They are on display in the main corridor. We are selling poppies in school this week to support the Royal British Legion poppy appeal.

I spoke to the children about our Autumn homework project, in assembly yesterday.  The focus is on how they keep healthy and well when they are not in school.  We are planning a curriculum evening for parents on Wednesday 28th November to tell you all about health and wellbeing in school, and the children's work will be displayed as part of that event.

Click here for information about the homework project.

Halloween Disco ... and other things!

gill on: Mrs Austerfield's Blog

We have been having spooky fun tonight at the Halloween disco, organised by the PSA.  The children look amazing!  Thank you parents and staff who have given up their time to provide this event for our children - you are helping to make their memories!

Just a reminder that we break up today and school restarts on Monday 5th November. Tomorrow is a training day (Child Protection) for staff.

We have had a super half term.  The children have worked hard and behaviour has been incredible.  We have had several visitors to school who have come to tell me how impressed they are with our/your children.  I think they need a well-deserved rest!

Have a great holiday.
