Remember to keep reading the books on Bug Club, the children have all been allocated a new set of books to keep them busy during the half term holidays. Happy reading!

Sam's Safari visit today - we all had a brilliant time looking at the animals, some of us were brave enough to hold them!

Welcome to Aspen Class in Year 1!  Our teacher is Miss Shirra.

We have PE on Monday and Wednesday. Our PE kit is:

  • white t-shirt
  • royal blue shorts
  • jogging bottoms
  • jumper or hoodie
  • trainers
  • Please write my name on all my PE clothes and uniform as I don't want to lose them.
  • On PE days we can't wear earrings and girls with long hair should have it tied back.

Spelling and Maths homework is sent home every Friday and should be returned by the following Wednesday. It is important that I read every day for ten minutes. When I read to you, a sibling or family member please write the date and your initials and if you have time a short comment to let my teachers know how I'm getting on with my reading.

Please note that snack (fruit or vegetables) are provided in school so please just bring a water bottle.
