Headteacher's Statement

Asquith Primary School opened in September 2002 with 5 children on roll in the Reception Class and 7 in the Nursery!  Since that time the school has gone from strength to strength and we are now expanding to a two form entry primary school and currently have 341 pupils on roll.

We offer fully integrated, flexible childcare within our nursery, which means that parents are able to combine their free nursery entitlement with childcare, all within the same setting.  We also manage Morley North Children’s Centre, which is currently based at Morley Town Hall.

We have built our school around the children and families that we serve.  Our ethos is one of support and mutual respect with a focus on achievement and success.  We want all of our children to achieve their potential whilst also learning to be responsible and contented members of our society.  By building a school community which works together in such a supportive way we believe that we really are ‘Growing to Succeed!’
