Asquith Primary School opened in September 2002 with 5 children on roll in the Reception Class and 7 in the Nursery! Since that time the school has gone from strength to strength and we are now a two form entry primary school with over 400 pupils on roll.
We have built our school around the children and families that we serve. Our ethos is one of support and mutual respect with a focus on achievement and success. We want all of our children to achieve their potential whilst also learning to be responsible and contented members of our society. By building a school community which works together in such a supportive way we believe that we really are ‘Growing to Succeed!’
our school history
Our school was opened in September 2002, with 12 pupils on roll. We have taken our name from Herbert Henry Asquith, one of Morley's most famous sons!
In our first year of opening we housed pupils from Summerfield Primary School in Bramley whilst their school was refurbished. Since then Asquith Primary School has grown from strength to strength and now has 420 pupils on roll. In September 2012 we were expanded to two form entry and we opened a new KS2 extension in May 2015.
