Parents and Carers
At Asquith we aim to develop strong relationships with our parents and carers. We operate an ‘open door’ policy where parents and carers can come in to discuss any worries or concerns they might have. We firmly believe in working together - staff, pupils and parents and carers. This creates the best platform for children to be successful at school.
We welcome parents into school as partners in their children's learning. Some of the events we run across the year include:
- Learning showcases for every year group once a year
- Stay and share sessions in Nursery and Reception classes each term
- Seasonal family events, such as Christmas craft mornings
- Performances at Christmas and the end of the year.
- Family sports events during our annual sports week
- Three parent/teacher consultation meetings a year
- Parent meetings with leaders and governors
- Coffee mornings for parents of children with SEND
In our policies section, you will find a variety of documents for your reference. If you require a paper copy of anything on the school website, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Please use the tabs in the 'Parents and Carers' section to find more useful information, including information about school meals and our extended schools provision.
